A Motorcyclist's Tribute to the Barefoot Massage Therapists of America
Welcome to my web site. My name is Chuck Lamb and I'm from Bristol Mills, Maine. Come along with me for a motorcycle journey that salutes a very special breed of massage therapist -- those who practice barefoot massage in all its various forms.
I'll be riding from Maine to western Colorado and back during a 38-day period, beginning July 1, 2004 and returning August 7th. And during that period I'll be lucky enough to be worked on by some of the finest therapists in the country. Those of you who stick around for the ride will get to meet them, because each of them will be featured on this site.
Although this site exists primarily for the enjoyment of my family and friends, and in particular my special friends in the massage therapy community, all visitors are welcome. Please feel free to contact me via email at celamb@tidewater.net.
Now for a little history. Four years ago I made a four-month, 19,000 mile trip by motorcycle around the country, visiting 48 states in the process. I chronicled that adventure in another web site, and for those of you who haven't visited it, I invite you to do so. And now, on with the show. The following pages will tell you a little about me and about the trip I am about to undertake, and will introduce you, by means of digital photography, to my regular therapists and to the team of therapists who will be working on me during the38 days I'm on the road. And as I did four years ago, I hope to have time to publish a periodic narrative about the trip along with some digital photos of people I've met and places I've been, all of which will be uploaded to this site as I go along.
